Who We Are

The Culver City Police Officers’ Association was created to support the men and women of the Culver City Police Department and to create a lasting bond with the community that we serve to protect on a daily basis.

Our organization has made great strides over the last decade to become one of the most effective and professional police organizations in the country. Our department members come from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds and we pride ourselves on our cultural diversity and sense of inclusion.

In addition to our diversity, I would argue that our organization is one of the most well trained and highly educated police departments in the state of California, if not the entire country. Our department members attend regular cultural diversity, implicit bias, sexual harassment, and sensitivity training to ensure we are fielding the finest law enforcement officers we can. In addition to our ongoing police training, most of our staff have earned four-year college degrees with many others having earned graduate degrees. Our education, police and college experience, has given us a unique prospective opening our minds to communication, problem solving, and inclusion for many of the societal problems we all face.

We are committed to creating a safe and secure atmosphere within our agency and for all the citizens in our Community.
